Install the software

It is very easy to install. See Huygens Installation for platform specific details. To read more about the programs, see Huygens Software.

Ask for a free of charge test license

The program has many FreeWare functionalities that will work directly, but if you would like to test all the available options (including Huygens Deconvolution) you need to apply for a test license and install it.

Test licenses are free of charge. During the testing period of 30 days you will gain access to all of the capabilities of the Huygens Software and also receive our full technical support, including assistance in restoring your datasets and access to this wiki's private articles.


After installing the software, find out your system ID in the Huygens Essential Help > About menu, copy it verbatim and send it to SVI.

To prevent any typing error use the copy button in that dialog to save the ID to the clipboard. You can "stamp" it into your mail message with the Edit > Paste button of your mail program. Send your system ID to -+sal+--+es+- , you'll be provided with a license string.
