Timeout is a Restoration Parameter in the Huygens Software that sets the maximum computation time allowed for a restoration task, in seconds.

The time-out parameter works as follows:

1. In the batch processor the Deconvolution template has a 'time-out' window (in the first block just under 'background mode')
2. Default it's set at 500 seconds.
3. Understandably sometimes users put that to 0 as they don't understand its function. That's not a good idea.
4. The time-out parameter is needed as otherwise your system may get stuck.
