How serious a problem is undersampling in Z-direction?
I quess we will loose image restoration capacity. The data files we were looking to deconvolve were reported as being undersampled in Z direction by a factor of x5 or x6.
The problem is that you can't get resolution if you don't have the samples: Potentially you get an after-restoration resolution <br>
of say 300nm (requires 150nm sampling for that to see the `valley' between the peaks). With 5x undersampling, say at 1mu, you only reduce out of focus blur a bit, but you can't get at the 300nm z-resolution.
See UnderSampling.
