2019 MouseEmbryo2
.

This image won the 1st prize in the Huygens Image Contest 2019. It was submitted by Mr. Howard Vindin from the Weiss Lab, Charles Perkins Centre, The University of Sydney, NSW, Australia.
His amazing multiphoton image was stitched, deconvolved with Huygens Professional using a measured PSF and visualized with depth-coded coloring using the Huygens MIP renderer. This image of outstanding quality represents Erythrocytes that mark the developing vasculature in a mouse embryo (E14.5). We like to refer Howard's instagram account (#artofmicroscopy) for more images created with Huygens (nearly all of them were made with the help of Huygens).
This picture has been used for the Scientific Volume Imaging mouse pads to show how beautiful biological images can become with Huygens Deconvolution and 3D MIP rendering!
