What do you mean by the mounting medium?
Does this mean the immersion medium (i.e. 1.0 for air and 1.515 for oil), or the medium in which the tissue is mounted (e.g., glycerol, DPX, water, or whatever)?
The embedding medium in which the sample is mounted. We also include an immersion medium field to account for water immersion lenses.
