For interactive usage in Huygens Professional :

  1. Select an image, right click on it to open the contextual menu and select Launch operations window.
  2. On the Operations window, select the menu entry Analysis -> Plot line profile.
  3. Put the cursor on the Starting point entry field. You can type there coordinates directly (in pixels) or use the right mouse button to select them interactively on the slicer.
  4. Put the cursor on the Ending point entry field and do the same. This profile can be selected in 3D, you can shift along the Z planes in the viewer
  5. When the starting and end points are defined, click on Run. A profile plotter will open.
  6. While in that plotter, press 'H" on your keyboard to get help on the possibilities you have therein. One of them is key 'E', to export the plotted data as Comma Separated Values (CSV) that you can import in Excel.
