The PSF looks "banana-shaped" in the x-z or y-z planes. What could be the reason?

I measured PSF with beads using a 100x, 1.40-oil objective. The PSF looks clearly banana-shaped in the x-z or y-z planes. Do you believe that this is only because of the objective or if it can be due to any misalignment in the scanner? I use the appropriate immersion oil and cover glass.

We have seen this many times. Please see Banana Psf.
