New in Huygens 3.5: The Object Stabilizer

The Huygens Object Stabilizer analyzes and corrects for translation (in 3D) and axial rotation. The animation shows an apoptotic cell stained with fluorescent H2B nuclear protein. The original time interval between slices is 300 seconds. Courtesy of M. Varecha and M. Kozubek, Masaryk University, Czech Republic.

With the help of our Huygens Software, many scientists and researchers world-wide are able to substantially improve and examine their microscopic images in more details. Huygens Software generates high-quality results from nearly all types of microscopy images.

New in version 3.5! The Huygens Object Stabilizer

For time series there are three stabilization methods available after deconvolution: Cross correlation, Multi object tracking and Center of mass alignment, while you can also apply the Stabilizer before deconvolution to align slices in 3D stacks. More...

Brightfield images: Huygens deconvolution proven to work correctly

Brightfield images, combined with the Huygens deconvolution techniques have sofar been treated with special care as, despite its undeniable improvements in SNR and resolution, a true scientific foundation was lacking sofar.

That's no longer the case as Dr. Marcel Oberlaender et al. from the MPI of Neurobiology in Martinsried now proved the validity of the Huygens deconvolution for brightfield data. More...
